Looks like a pretty sharp cold front coming in Tuesday night. Two more days with highs in the low 70's followed by highs around 55 on Wednesday. Get ready and get out your dry suits. This looks like first serious fall wind event. Hope to see a good crowd out on Wednesday at Van Pugh.

I'm about to load up the Orange Milk Truck (after dusting off the gear) in hopeful preparation for some shredding at Van Pugh tomorrow late AM. Anyone else gonna make it by noon?
Doug
Looks like its 15 mph from the West in Gainesville right now, and I'm probably getting there about noon;
Gene, you got a live update? you already shreddin!?!
Doug Stratton
Almost live update (from Randy).
Randy just got there at 11:00, said it's capping and looking pretty good. He's thinking 7.0 right now or even smaller. It's cloudy still at my house and looks like it's picking up. It's still pretty warm right now. I plan to head out around lunch.

I'm coming over now; takes me about an hour...I'm pumped! Havent sailed since Margarita in February!!
Woody's loaded, I'm on my way! See y'all in about 40 minutes.
... Chuck.
Did it suck on lanier as bad as it did on juliette yesterday?
we had about 30min of 8.0 conditions about 4:30pm
No, it didn't suck. We sailed 5.2 to 6.5. As the day went by, peeps were rigging down, and I was pretty well tapped out. Strong day, not a lot of holes, lots of fun. Warm water and even some sunshine later on. Gainsville reported 15-23 from around 11 till 4, which seems about right.
Anybody sail at 'Toona?

Dang, I started to head up that way too but didnt want Jon to have to sail alone.
Best day in a long while for me. Fully wound up on 5.5 with no holes and steep starboard-tack ramps = big air, even for blondes. Plus warm water made it pretty comfy. Sorry you missed it Speedyman
