Our good windsurfing friends in the Northeast invited us to join them for a skiing get-away. Those of you who have windsurfed with us in the Outer Banks will likely know Mel & Alice Hebel and Ron Demarinis. Our flight almost didn't make it out of Atlanta due to sleet and freezing rain, but a couple of hours late we departed for Hartford, CT and drove an SUV rental to Londonderry, VT. We joined up and skied Stratton, where conditions were excellent. There appeared to be about four feet of natural snow at the base of the Mountain. Some photos are attached.
