Swimsuit models are conveniently from our house & next door.

Good times continue with more photos from this week. Our last day is forecast to be warm with side-onshore wind @ 20-30mph from the SW. Water in the Sound is 80ºF and 70ºF in the ocean.

Week 3 Nags Head group: Dave, William, Randy, Mindy, Ruth & Ted, Barrett & Peggy, John.
William demonstrates his skill on a fin board.
No more wetsuits as warm, SW wind returns for our last week.
Barrett captures a selfie sailing 6.0m sail with 111L JP FS wave board.

Re: Week 3 Nags Head, OBX

It was my first time on a finned board in 18 months. Spent most of the week on a 102 l. FSW 62cm wide. This was a big change from what I've been foiling on. It took a day of jibes to stop putting my foot so far over that it would drag in the water. Remarkably, this is better than my last trip to OBX where I actually stepped all the way across and off the board once or twice. It took another couple of days to remember all the little tricks of jibing a finned board to keep it planing through and I don't think I was still up to my old standard by the time we left. Oh well...

btw, reminded how nice Ezzys are for freeriding. Rigged a 6.5 on the windiest day of the trip (22-29mph) after using a 5.4 a couple times before. Rock solid and never misbehaved.

Thanks to Barrett for the photos. He takes a lot of effort to get a good shot and we appreciate it.
