watching Sunday afternoon - Hartwell

iwindsurf.com offering some promise for Sunday afternoon - NE winds, ~14-20 ish mph.

Broyles Rec Area would be a likely launch (easy to get to from the south. less than 5 mins off I-85)

Hopefully morning t-storms and afternoon clouds will dampen (harhar) the weekend water traffic

Asheville Janes and I are watching...with fingers crossed.

Re: watching Sunday afternoon - Hartwell

well the Fx's were waxing and waning....and looked uninspiring. There was one standout model offering promise though, and I was desperate. And to my grateful surprise, that model camethrough. I ended up having a great 6.6m session down on the south end of the lake, launching from Elrod Ferry, sailing right up until 8:30 pm

(and...met a new wingfoiler (from ATL) who launched from Long Point. Didn't get his name, but I tried to guide him to this site to connect to more wingers in this great group. Hopefully he'll turn up here : )

Doing the Lord's work, my good man. ?

Like Langdon's Vann's session, it's a great feeling to just take the chance and go. Definitely there are times it doesn't work out but those magic sessions like yours make it, imho, worthwhile.
