Wind has backed off considering something bigger.

Despite the cold, fun day at Galts too. I foiled 4.7, Eddie ran his formula board, and Francisco used a wing with his GO!

What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.

Re: Watching Friday/Saturday Forecast 11/12-11/13

Great day. The wind had backed down when I was getting to rig so I decided to go 6.7 and went out as Barrett was rigging. About halfway across the first reach, the wind had picked up to 18+ so kind of regretted not going smaller. When I got to the top of Aqualand, I just decided to ride the puffs downwind and eventually ended up at Old Fed. Saw a few wings, a couple of kitefoils (said hello to Rogier) and Clayton out on the water. Turned back upwind and in a handful of tacks got above the LLSC.

Decided to dip down into the LLSC bay seeing that there was a college regatta going on and wanted to see of Chris V was out (didn't see him). Back up and out of the bay and then almost made it through the Aqualand slot before getting light wind for a few minutes before clearing the islands back to VP.

Rounded the little islands and the VP bay was lit. Downwinded it to the launch, had a bite to eat and rigged the 5.4 and small board. Chris P was going out, too, on a 5.8. We both should have rigged 4 somethings. Good 12 to mid 20s for the rest of the afternoon. Barrett had gone to his new shortboard, fin and still on the 6.7.

Surprised that more people weren't out at VP, it was a stellar day with really good wind. I know a lot of folks like to go to Old Fed for the safety factor but the wind was a solid notch above at VP and no wind shadows from pesky islands. Still great that we had so many people out on Lanier and Allatoona.
