tuttle fin screws...and other things

Re: the tuttle fin screw discussion:
Wow...that was a lot of keyboard whacking devoted to the smallest piece of gear on the whole board/rig machine! I had to go to a new thread here. Sorry I was out of the loop for such a while -- been a busy summer! (My upcoming windsurf e-news will give the excuses.) June and July have been the biggest months total $$ business in my 5 years of doing this. Just been too busy -- w/ family, too -- to check the bulletin board regularly after my daily hours of e-mailing.
Gene, if you need fin screws**...or Euro-pin mast track adapters...or Mistral adj. mast track "sliders"...or male mast-tip inserts...or brass and stainless rectangular washers for a-boxes or mast tracks...or 5mm and 5/32" downhaul line...or Aquaseal for drysuit repair... or foot strap screws...or 3 and 4-roller pulley hooks...or downhaul tools...or boom brahs...or tendon, as well as, rubber hourglass U-joint replacement kits...or Euro-pin adapter cups...or collars for mast and (some) boom extensions...or a lot of other little stuff --you coudda just called me. (cell: 706-833-WIND) I have all that in stock . I can run out of something sometimes, but I maintain inventory on all that piddly pain-in-the-butt stuff.
** I stock 1/4 x 20 and 6mm screws (I got 'em from Chinook, the windsurfing people, so they are correct for the purpose) in the longest available size, 5'' and 90mm, respectively. I got tired of trying, since it's impossible, to size screws across the spectrum of boards and fins in this sport. So, I carry these screws and a good hacksaw. Measure the length you need, thread a nut to that point and cut it cleanly off to fit just right. If you got a hacksaw, I can send the screws, but, be aware: I don't pay for the shipping. I make a profit in this business and it's impossible to do so on this little stuff -- the effort to have it and create a simple mail shipment is not recoverable in most cases -- but, hey, I'm here to support what ever it takes to do the sport RIGHT.
Sorry if this comes across as an advertisement. Just file it under the "how shall they know, unless they be told" .
As always, go forth and BE STOKED!
