There was no music at Lanier, but it was a pretty swell day for me, Barrett, CP and Jim C. (Thanks again to Marek for leaving and causing the wind to turn on). Actually it turned off and on 3 or 4 times while we were out but, when on, it was pretty dang steady. 5.5, 7.0, 5.7, 7.5
Count me in for Thursday as well. Four days of GOOD wind in a row must be some kind of record for Atlanta.
Tuesday was so much fun. The only problem I encountered was my wetsuit turned into a sweatsuit. When the air temp went over 70F in the sun, I was about to get heat stroke, so I was forced to drop in the 50F water and cool off. Then there's the problem of warm wind lifting off the water. As the day cooled off the lulls subsided & peak quality wind was between 5-6 PM. Thursday's conditions should be optimal.
