Shred Dog and I will be back for more. All you mofos better start practicing your jibes - it looks like Scott heard about the Loretta's challenge and hasn't eaten in 6 weeks. He's HUNGRY.
I’m definitely more sore than usual from wrestling with the gusty conditions earlier in the day. A couple of sailors said it was better on the upwind side of those three wind blocking islands, I think next time I’ll pack a lunch and beverage and head up wind. Water level was down a couple of feet from the last time I was there too.
Still a fun day and good to see my windsport brethren’s minus a few that couldn’t make it.
btw,semi-complete explanation of why NW winds suck so much - it has a lot to do with those pretty mountains 35-40 miles away you could see. I haven't done the write up yet but you can see the images and maps and get an idea of how lee/mountain/gravity waves work.

I'm planning on being there a little after noon.

Just Wingin' It
Fun even though I got there late this afternoon. Bunch of windsurfers, wingers, kiters. Good vibe. Nice to see everyone.
