Trip to Florida Soon

Watching the weather in the Tampa area.
For me this will be a 3 or 4 day trip and I will probably spend most of the time in Tampa bay at the Scenic View launch but might sail at Dunedin
Causeway as well.

Since this is a forecast based trip there will not be much notice ( maybe 2 or 3 day notice )

Fred Howard park in Tarpon springs is an excellent launch for most who are windsurfing , kiting or have shallow running foil gear (75cm and less masts )
Dunedin is about 20 or 30 minutes South of Fred Howard and is deep enough for foiling.

Scenic View ( another 30 minutes or so South ) has a great area between the launch and sandbar that provides flat water and allows you to take breaks at either end of your reach. If you wish you can go around the sandbar and sail in the swell.

North beach Windsurfing is in the St. Petersburg area and is a great shop to get gear and advice from.

Hope to find 65 + temps and 15+ SW/S/SE winds

My next two weekends are booked but open during the week or weekends past that. If the forecast shows a good window before then, please don't let me hold up the bus.

Talked to Shred Dog (Scott S) in Palm Coast, FL yesterday (s of St. Augustine) and even he's heading south for a bit.

It is early but the forecast for Tampa is starting to look good ( and warm ) toward the end of next week
