Thursday, Friday 9/8-9

I'm only mentioning this because it's been so frustrating the last few weeks and this gives us something to possibly look forward to.

Easterlies at the end of the week and possibly into the weekend. Rain is still on the menu though through the week. I think that the moss in my hard has algae growing on it, it's been so wet. Sad Having lived through the droughts 15 years ago, I'm not complaining, though. That was brutal on the environment.

I plan to sail Friday if the wind forecast holds up & we don't have too much rain.

Neil and I are up for another round Friday. We'll both be at Vanns.

Today was excellent - got in a couple hours of absolute zoom-zoom on the foil. Neil broke 20 using a 900ish foil and 6m wing. I rigged HGO 8.0 and 1000cm2 wing which behaved well in gusts and absolutely flew through lulls.

Yeah it did turn out quite well. Windfoiled 5.7 for about 90 minutes. First time I ever caught a fish (on camera).

What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.

A crowd. Yahoo Trying to list names and if I brain fart, forgive me and add yours

Richard kite+wing
Sam kite (wing?)
Roland wing
Neil wing
Scott wing
Dave Delozier kite
Barrett windsurf
Chris V windfoil
Chris P windsurf windfoil
JP wing
Jae-hoon windsurf
David Wade spectate
me windfoil

Lovely day although at times too much of a good thing. Gilmer reported gusts in the upper 20s and the water certainly looked it at times. Neil winged for a bit on a 3.5. Barrett windsurfed with a 7 at the big end of things. Most wings looked to be 5-6 for most of the day. Delozier kited with an 11. I was fully to overpowered windfoiling with a 5.4 and Chris V was Eyes Wide Open on a 6.5.

Excellent fun Good Yes, eyes wide with 6.5. When you flew by and called me chicken for not jibing, I was just tying to get home without exploding. 5.5 was much better (but still OPd)!
