Daddy has a foil that needs a rinse. Euro says no way while the GFS says maybe. I'm still recovering from the disappointment of yesterday's forecast evaporating.
It GFSed every 5 or 10 minutes and was able to get some decent rides in although most of the time serious pumping was involved. Gilmer was claiming 11-14ish during the afternoon but whitecaps were almost non-existent on the water.
Honestly wasn't expecting anything - just needed a break and took the chance. Langdon joined me for the late shift but not sure he got out of the water. It was a pretty day all the same. Getting a few flights in was a bonus.
Edit: Langdon said he saw a bit more wind up near Gilmer and I had noticed a breeze coming up 985. The temp cooled about 4-5 degrees from 985 to VP - we're wondering if that had something to do with it.
I feel your pain brother.

speaking of GFS, found this on a weather blog.
Good thing we all have foils now so that wind no longer matters to us.......
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
