Looks like some nice days ahead.
Neil wants more wing foil time and Alan has a new toy that needs a rinse. I think I'll be in, too.
Both days look like 12 or 14-20. Sunday is also on the radar and more days next week. Sunday may be too warm as the high is supposed to be 81. I imagine the boat traffic will be nuts on Lanier. May be a good day to seek other options.

+1 for seeking other options.
This past Saturday was a circus
I am planning on a 12:30 arrival tomorrow, Thursday. I am excited about attempting to fly in more manageable winds. Sunday was too much for me. Hopefully someday I will drool over those gusts, but for now it they wear me out and the whole session turns into survival rather than fun.
Hope to see you tomorrow.
Neil
I'll be there a little afterwards. Alan, Gene, Chris of either persuasion?
I'm in, both days I hope.

VP?
Alan
Heading to VP, but might check out OF. Mtg till 3, likely not in water until after that
Rhett, Gene, Hamdi, Chris P., William, Bill, Neil & Roland showed up for a fun afternoon on the water. I rigged big with an 8.5m while Rhett was getting good rides with a 5.2m and is new foil board.

Ed and Dmitri were rigging up as I left to take the late shift. Surprisingly fun day. The foil boys are making great strides. Rhett and Gene are working on jibes and both getting close. Gene wasn't taking no for an answer and credit to him (and Hamdi) for getting back in the saddle numerous times. Hamdi has advanced from the "I just want to survive" stage and working on the harness. Chris P was getting some long and level flights. Neil excitedly told me he'd gotten some really nice wingfoil rides and how much easier it was above the water vs on.
Windlord was making some snappy jibes on the Phoenix. Alan and Josh kept us company as we rigged. Barrett told me a funny story about getting shamed for not derigging every night at OBX. We both had been thinking,"isn't that kind of the purpose of renting a house? NOT derigging every day?"
Nice turn out for a random Thursday! Very few boats owing to the 55 degree air temp. Glad to see everyone.
Good to get the tips from everyone yesterday. Definitely my best day so far. I was able to fly with the mast almost fully exposed, so it felt really high. It also became completely silent which was a crazy sensation. Hoping to get more time today, Friday. Bruised my toe, too!!! Might wear reef booties today.
Neil
Bring the 4.0 today. Should be pretty breezy.

Forecast is for NW later in the day. I'm sure a few kiteboys will be at Old Fed.
I'm going to be surfing the Aqualand break.
