We just returned from a family trip visiting the tall ships and windsurfing at Lake Erie. Eight tall ships were in port at Erie, PA. We were there to visit my 90 y.o. Dad who is in assisted living. I keep windsurfing gear in storage and was able to sail Presque Isle Bay one afternoon and Lake Erie on a second day during a family picnic at the beach. As soon as white caps appear on the Lake, swell builds, making for waves a good as off-shore ocean conditions.
