Sunday Wind

The forecast looks good this afternoon with only a slight chance of rain. The question is where to launch where there will be parking. Maybe Van Pugh or Old Federal will be OK with morning rain keeping crowds away. Any suggestions?

Re: Sunday Wind

I'll be back at the club this afternoon– 3-ish. Lots of people hanging there this w/e but no problem to come there if you want. Probably have to drop gear at the rigging area and park elsewhere. You can precede me there if you want. (nobody will ask, but if they do, you are my guest and I'll be there in a bit) Gate is 0676. The beach is big enough to launch kites, but gotta get upwind right away. Shok

Re: Sunday Wind

Many thanks to Chris for inviting us. Barrett, Langdon, Chris P and I took him up on his offer. We also saw Matthew there as he's a member of the LLSC.

Only got about a half hour of decent wind. CV and I foiled for a bit but the rest of it wasn't up to advertised strength except when we were all driving off and it freshened. CV was still rigged so he got a bit of a sunset session.
