Took a chance and came up since nws models were suggesting at least 8. Grabbed a parking space and waited a while before finally figuring I needed either to go out or pack up.
Ended up a good day. There are just enough gusts to monkey pump onto the foil and then I could usually glide all the way across. Probably was flying 70-80% of the time. Much better than I would have expected. A couple of 30+ft power boats were knuckle heads but flying over the wake made things a lot easier.
Plus set a PB this morning bowling. It was a good day.
