5 pm... more wind ( still not enough for most of y'all to mess with) ...less boats
I tried wind dancing with Mary Alice today - pretty much same result. Not much wind and mucho boats. But did sail some anyway. Called it a day around 3 I guess. Now I'm kind of burned out on going tomorrow. Probably just as many, if not more boats, but maybe more wind.
This might be the first time I actually sailed on Memorial Day weekend. For the last umpteen years I've gone to the Indy 500, but stayed at home this time. I was going to watch the race on TV. Well you can DVR TV but you can't DVR wind......

If you can get enough wind to just keep moving nicely it is fun to ride up and down the mish mash of waves produced to by all the boats. It's no so much fun if you are barely moving and trying keep your balance by hanging onto a rig that is close to dead.

I always thought he should have gotten a a stop smoking patch or a diet plan to sponsor him. His car owner was sponsored by Marlboro for years so maybe that nixed any stop smoking patch.

It was fun playing in the waves from the big boats with the longboard. (Something I would not have said last year ) .
