Gee,

There's so much stuff there, I would need to buy Gene's  house to hold it all.

Radny,
That's the way one feels the first time in Costco or Sams, there are deals from ceiling to floor.  ;D

Hmmm,

I wonder if the 520 PowerEx bottom would fit my 490 Fiberspar R6000? ::)

Marek,
ouch- luckily for me, the mast came to me that way. Was it the bottom that went again on you? I thought you were getting a good deal. Didn't mean to send you for a swim.

William,

No complaints or bad feelings here, the mast looked good when I bought it.  The deal was good, it’s the carbon breaking that sucks.

I still wonder though if the top of the PowerEX would fit the bottom for the R6000.  Probably this would not be the best mast out there, but better than two separate half pieces.

Re: stuff for sail/sale

My mistake,

What I meant is the bottom of the PowerEx fitting the top of the R6000.  It's the bottom of the R6000 that broke, right above the boom.  Sounded like a gun shot and the next thing I saw was the water.

Re: stuff for sail/sale

Marek, You are more than welcome to give it a go. I'm probably pretty dang flexible on price.

I'm p.o'ed that the Fibersnap made you swim. It had been rigged 3 times or so and spent the rest of it's life in a plastic tube. I appreciate you not hunting me down in the middle of the night but it bums me out.

Chris, Medium, it is. - some reactor bar wear  - but it sports a shiny aluminium (yep, say it like the Brits) Murrays Marine spreader bar so further wear shouldn't be an issue. Harness was clocked at over 31 mph in Hatteras- thus wearing the name "Speed Seat" proudly.  Well, closer to 33-34 if you include a catapault or 2. (ok, I'm goofin' here)
