Barrett & Peggy from Atlanta invite you to join us in Nags Head. We had such a great time windsurfing at this location last year, we have reserved 4 weeks, Apr. 16 to May 14.
Soundfront home with spectacular views of the sunset. To see photos of the house & sailing, go to to the foto gallery listed under bulleting board on this website. This site has adequate water, even during a long NE wind. Most years, sailors do not need to use a weed fin. Three tastefully decorated master suites with private bathes. Every room overlooks the water and has a sliding glass door. This is an ideal windsurfing spot; so rigging is only done once. We set up a sail rack under the house. Excellent windsurfing, fishing, kayaking, and golfing getaway! Easy walking distance to the clubhouse, both Ocean (1/3 mile) and Soundfront (40 yards) beach and 20-mile path for cycling, roller blading and walking. A supermarket and shopping area is 5 minutes away by bicycle. Hang gliding on Jocky's Ridge State Park is about 4 miles from the house. The house is an hour closer to Atlanta than Avon. Sorry, house rule, no small children.
The rates are $180 per week per person for housing and $11 per day per person for food, which includes wine. Arrival is Saturday and Departure is Saturday, that’s 8 Days & 7 Nights. Deposits of $90 per person per week are due with your reservation.
Bedrooms: 2 Kings, 1 Queen, 2 Twins, 1 Pyramid w/ Trundle, Queen Sleeper Sofa, Linens and Towels provided. Both King and the Queen bedrooms have large private full bathrooms.

Just wanted to put out a post regarding the upcoming Frisco Woods
Windfest.
Windsurfing will definitely be there in force and strength with
equipment demos and lesson/technique clinics with Roger/Ellen.
I had heard some rumors of concern over the early publicity regarding
kiting as a prominent part of this event. It appears that the people
over at Kittyhawk Kites have been a bit overzealous in promoting the
kiting aspect of windfest, and more specifically the kiting event that
they are attempting to host at their location further up north on
Hatteras Island the same weekend.
As far as I have been informed, all of the brands that attended last
years Windfest, will again be in attendance at this years Windfest.
Roger, Ellen, Myself(Sailworks) and Hugh from Starboard, will all be in
attendance providing demo equipment/support from Sailworks, Starboard,
HPL, Powerex and Streamlined with the Taste of Windsurfing Tour
truck/trailer.
To help ensure that no one misses out on a chance to check out and try
out any of our demo gear, Sailworks and Starboard will be offering free
informal demos the week before Windfest from Sat-Tues(noon-5pm)at a our
watrfront rental house in Frisco.
As soon as we have our house reservation confirmations completed we
will provide the appropriate location and timing information for this
informal preview demo of our 2005 Sailworks and Starboard Demo Gear.
For further information, you may email me and I will follow up with you
directly :
We're looking forward to seeing all of you out at the Frisco Woods
Windfest and hope we get as luck as we did last year with the 5
straight days of good weather and strong winds from 14-30knts every
day.
Happy Sailing
