BTW - this ought be good. I just heard on the radio that there is a 100% chance of ice and snow tomorrow. Not 90%, not 98%, not 99% but 100%. Apparently these people have never been disappointed by the Nested Grid Model or the like. Schools are already closed for the next two days, grocery stores look like WW3 is about to arrive. We are getting HUNKERED DOWN. Its going to be pretty illuminating if the models turn out to be wrong by a degree or two and we end up with 2 days of drizzle.

This morning, Nathan Deal woke up and looked out the window. What he felt is what we've all felt when we drove up to Van Pugh, pulled into the parking lot and looked at a flat lake:
The really interesting question is whether people stayed at home today because of the forecast, or the lack of confidence in our leaders and their emergency plans? I mean the last time our team hit the field it made the Super Bowl look like a really close win for Seattle.
