That sail looked crisp (UV damage). Your head/helmet will bounce off your newer sail. (There, does that give you comfort?
) Not uncommon in Europe to buy second hand gear from the big rental/resort places that have cooked on the beach a while.
I remember in my early days. Just about every venture out was followed by the need to repair something. Kind of like my days now on the foil. Besides, if this sport were easy, they'd call it rocket science.
