Saturday Wind

I hope to sail Saturday at Van Pugh if the FX of West wind holds up. Please post if you can go.

Re: Saturday Wind

I might go early. Need to be downtown by mid afternoon for beer and music.

Edit: Just saw the temps early on tomorrow. %&#@ that. Langdon wasn't even using a shorty yesterday.

Re: Saturday Wind

I will be waiting for Sunday afternoon when it is 70 again.
Yep...I know...less wind on Sunday. That's ok, I do not need as much wind now.

Looks like my kind of day. Should be on the water by 2 or 3:00.

Re: Saturday Wind

Chris P. & I sailed at Van Pugh. We had fog, mist, some sun, and rain all in one session. I got out 1st on my 8.5m & 122 liter board and was rigged right for about 45 min, then some light rain came through and the wind began to gradually ramp up and shift from W to NW. Chris rigged his 5.8m sail and seemed to be rigged right when the wind began to pick up. We both quit when the wind became too strong to handle. Surprisingly, the temp also dropped to 42F by the time we came in.
