Saturday P.M.

In case you missed it before...

The LLSC Reggae Regatta is this weekend. This is a big multi-class event that is renowned for the Caribbean-style good time off the water.

The racing will be on a course with the small boats in the bay at LLSC if possible, so that we're out of the boat traffic (& wakes). Sailboards will have a separate start. Classes will form based on attendance, but it's usually been Ltd 7.5 and maybe Unltd. Prodigy, Formula and any other one-design are all welcome but we need 5 to form a class. The entry fee is only $25. Add $10 for non-US Sailing members. Meal tickets, shirt, etc are separate.

There is free camping at the club, (Reserve via me early) and cheap motels in Oakwood. Also camping at Old Federal w/ hookups etc within easy walking distance to LLSC.

Even if you are not interested in racing, you are welcome to come for dinner ($16 for a pretty nice meal- kids cheaper) and the debauchery that usually ensues. Campout too if you want. I know many will be involved with Learn-to-WS during the day, but you are welcome to join the party for some apres teaching fun.

Register on-line at LLSC.com. The contact number shown there for me to reserve a camp site is wrong. The correct phone number is: 404-386-8505 or email at

.

I hope you can make it.
