Short but sweet foiling foray from LLSC. Drove through VP to check conditions. Parking was dicey so went on to the club where I'd left everything rigged from Friday. Ten minute slog out to wind line was well worth it. Fun to fly above the voodoo chop!
3PM I arrived at Van Pugh to find Carlos & Pat out on the water. For the first 45 min there was enough wind to stay on a plane with my 8.5m sail & JP light wind board, then plane in gusts only. Mauricio arrived & unpacked his gear after having it shipped to Atlanta. Ed arrived & another sailor was teaching his son to WS.
I sailed Galts. Well, not exactly. No parking at Galts, but I found a house on the lake with a friendly windsurfing owner and parked at his place. Sailed 6.0 for about 2.5 hours. Pretty good day, maybe half planing, but on the PacifiCo it is a blurred line between planing and not so. Anyway, it was fun.

Sounds good. I'm heading to Van Pugh.
