Nice kiting day yesterday with multiple successful, dry landings and 80 degree weather. There were 3 of us out (Emilio, Khalil and I). I got to enjoy some time on the Sonic 14. Thank you Emilio - Very nice kite. Takes the gusts with a simple bar adjustment and has the grunt to power through the lulls and stay upwind. I'm going to get one. It seems to be just the trick for the lake. Emilio and Khalil were riding their 18.5 m2 kites just for comparison.

Toward the end of the day, I was able to get out on my Rhino 04 12 and actually made it upwind around the island just off the Old Federal Peninsula... Wind was blowing around 17 mph. It felt like we were at the beach the wind was so constant. Water is nice with just a shorty or long john.

Looks like the wind is going to be blowing again this afternoon. Wish I didn't have an afternoon party obligation..... :cry:
