Congrats to Dave for joining the "Meter High Club" (Well, the windfoil chapter anyway. He's already a kitefoil chapter member.)
Great pics. Thanks for sharing them with us. Now make your sweet wife happy and get her a windfoil board.
Thanks to Chris Voith for the hospitality. It was the perfect spot today. And appreciation to Langdon who kindly lent his kit to Dave and let him have a go at it.

Without a doubt, kudos to both! Sure didn't start the day thinking I'd be windsurf foiling....

It's interesting how our days often have unforseen surprises. This young lass certainly ended up getting some unexpected air time.
You did great for a first day. A big wing (Infinity 99, say) and your 6 something... Once you get consistent caps, rig up the kite or wing ding. It's all good - windsurf, kite, wingding. The foil is the perfect seasoning on top.
I was driving back from Tarpon Springs where I WinFoiled 10 (TEN) days in a row, 5 days on 7.5, 4 days on 6.0 and 1 day on the 5.2. After 4 days of high heat and no wind, it blew 10-15+ from the west every day. I also SUPed one of those days and Kited on the 13.5 Meter one of the days.
Without the WindFoil (also the 2 foot mast helped), the trip would have been a bust. Instead it was a very good trip in JULY!.

Looks like I missed a good day, but.........

"WinFoiled" I like that!
Glad to hear the foil ( and 2 foot mast) turned marginal wind into enough wind for a fun trip. Also glad you avoided getting COVID.

We tried to be careful, social distanced at Howard Park, biked a little bit, only went to stores for groceries / takeout. .
