Anyone sailing? Good NW wind, mid to upperish 40s by mid afternoon. Not a lot Of wind predicted after today for mere mortals anyways. Two months ago, many of us would have considered this ideal day to get to the lake I think .
Gusts this afternoon in the upper 20s, Hamdi. Wanna borrow my 9.0? (Hamdi is getting to be like Barrett - rig big and hang on.)
Ah, finally deemed worthy enough for that 9.0 that I wanted for so long! ?
I don’t mean to rig big and I could never be like Mike -I meant Barrett- in a million years - he has forgotten more about windsurfing than I think i will ever learn! It’s much more my inability to read the conditions layered with stubbornness to not rig more than once in play here, rather than my desire or ability to handle being so overpowered.
When I find myself in that situation, I try to make the best Of the experience though - what doesn’t kill you make you stronger, right? (Maybe!)
It's my wife's birthday today & I've been to the Lake two days in a row with good wind, so sorry I won't be going. Thanks for the big rig compliment, or is it a compliment.

Happy birthday Peggy!
So, are you saying that, if her bday fell on a windy day where you haven’t already sailed a few days close to it, you might have found a way to sneak out?
Some things are better not discussed or contemplated, right?
Just kidding Barret! Enjoy! ?
Well looking like mtn biking it’s then! Oh well, sailed twice already this week (as well as biked and rowed once each) and it’s darn cold out there. Should feel better biking in the woods with dry clothes layered.
Have to attend a social obligation today. Tomorrow is a lot less wind but sunny and close to 70.
