The next time someone gives you grief about how long it takes to put your rig together - especially if you have something more complex like a foil and/or cambered sail, show them this twenty (yeah, 20) step guide to rigging a foiling Moth

Great boats to be sure but I think they have at least matched us for complexity.
just a few of the steps
5. With the sail laying across the wing bars, untangle the stays, install the spreaders, and then attach the forestay and side shrouds to the mast.
10. If you’re rigging on a beach, remember to put a flat rock or a towel or anything other than sand under the tip of the bowsprit and the wand axle bolt. Then capsize the boat so you can install the blades.
15. Pull the gearing to the middle of the range.
Simple rigging is what got me windsurfing
I owe the Moths, Lasers and anyone else an apology. Spent a half hour rigging today. Sanded foil head with 1000 grit for the final fine tuning. Sanded wings for some rough spots with the 1000. Added shim under stab. Switched from surf wing to 1000cm2. Inserted vent plug. Inserted and tightened foil screws. Tied off safety leash. Installed mast base after hemming and hawing whether it should be back a cm or 2 for the light wind. This is all before I even contemplated which sail.
