Yes, this did happen a few weeks ago. A $2k carbon foil sits at the bottom of San Francisco Bay. The guy who did it is a very, very good windsurfer and kiter. Better than just about anyone you know. Names have been blurred 'cause my point isn't to further his embarrassment but remind everyone that
a) check your sh*t before you go out
b) even really good windsurfers goof up
so c) check your sh*t before you go out
