LLSC is hosting the One Design Open August 3-4. This event normally never
appears on my radar screen since "August" and "windsurfing" usually don't
go in the same sentence... but with the wind we've had in July, it seems
like it could be a possibility. Let's watch the forecast and see if it
looks promising for that weekend.

The entry fee is only $15. If you've ever wanted to check out racing, this
would be a great chance. If there is enough interest, I'll organize a short
clinic on racing basics for Saturday morning. Any long board and any 7.5
would be fine to satisfy the "one design" criteria. There is free camping
at the Sailing Club and a dinner planned for Sat. night. Contact me for
