Wind has been great. We arrived Sat. afternoon & sailed warm SW wind 18-25mph. Sunday SW wind blew all day increasing from 25 to 35mph+. This morning more SW wind 20-25mph followed by rain & a cold front with wind turning N.

Tell Howard we’re looking forward to seeing him hooked in, Jumping and Jibing by the time he gets back.

How far did Rhett have to walk? Asking for a "friend". Nice pics.
Rhett says "Very Far". He has an 85cm mast. I have a 75cm mast & was able to foil walking straight out from shore just past Nags Head Island (the island to the left, closest to our house). Rhett is today ordering a 75cm mast.
I foiled for the first time this trip, this morning, with a NE wind that blows the water out, but it wasn't lowest tide.

Another question - is Howard ever coming home? I imagine he's as happy as a pig in... OBX?
I'll ask Howard to report, but said he had another good day, despite a cold front dropping temps into the 50's today. At the moment everyone is napping, apparently worn out by this morning's epic session followed by Peggy's fish tacos for lunch.
Howard took a drive looking for gas only to discover closed stations & long gas lines, so he may be here longer than planned.

Like you guys told me, it was a great place to learn. No matter where I ended up I was able to walk back. Was hoping to get stuck here due to gas situation, but managed to fill the tank Thursday- Dang! Not jumping and jibing yet...... but had an amazing week that went by too fast!
