Most terrifying windsurfing experince

What's the most terrifying windsurfing experience you can imagine? Dropping in at Jaws? Sailing the west coast of Ireland in a full gale? Crossing busy Sydney Harbor dodging ferries?

How about strapping two boards together, putting four people on them without any pfds or wetsuits and attempting to cross the English Channel using shovels for paddles? When I first saw this, my instinct was to laugh but then I considered how desperate a human has to be to consider this Plan A. Fortunately, they were rescued before really bad things happened.

Just part of my daily routine when I came across it. I, like a lot of people, like to stay on top of the hot and pressing issues of Northern Wales. Wink

(I have been there a long time ago and it was, and hopefully is, beautiful.)
