Monthly Meet

Its that time of the month again for meeting up this Wednesday (03/11), but in traditional fashion we may need to negotiate the venue:

Taking votes on the following:

1. Cocktail Cove (next door to Charlie Mopps)
2. That place at Dekalb airport
3. Somewhere new but further up North

Anyone available ?

I vote for thingytail Cove or the Downwind at Peachtree DeKalb Airport, but I'm open to any place really.

I vote for the Downwind, it's more fun to meet there & watch the planes land.

Do any of them wipe out? Do forward loops?

Dont think we'll be seeing any goytas or spocks at this airport. only the occassional spin out and stall.

Can someone post directions (or address even better) for the Downwind. I'm planning on being there around 7:30

I just arrived at the downwind and have got us a couple of tables outside on the deck. It's chocker inside. Am happy to take any preorders on beers...

Sorry I didn't make it to the meeting. I went sailing instead, hoping for the wind to pick up late. None of us had your phone number.

For the first time the kiters, Mark and Kalil, did better than the windsurfers. The wind was steady, but light. There seemed to be more wind in the trees than reached the cold surface of the water. Perhaps the kites caught the wind higher up, or we just weren't rigged big enough.
