Monday 24 looks promising

If the forecast sticks over the weekend, I might load the board and gear before I leave for work Monday morning...anyone planning on going?

I'm in. Windmapper was hinting at it for a couple of days. Pleasant surprise to see all the dots this morning. Van Pugh? Seems more accessible to the weekday guys.

Count me in if the wind blows Monday.

Still looks good. I have loaded the car and I am hoping to scoot out from work around 11:30 or so.
By the way my boss knows...

Well, that's awkward... Biggrin

With the forecast downgraded to 5-10 and rain on the way, it doesn't look promising. I'm glad we have a trip planned to the Outer Banks in two weeks. We still have one room available the first week and the first day or two of the second week.

Met Langdon at VP for what I thought was a waste of gas session. Instead, we had 10-18. Glorious. Mauricio and Ed joined us. Sails ranged from 7.5 to 9.0. Gene stopped by which was wonderful because he was able to jump someone's dead battery. Yay, Gene!

Webguy was going faster than I have ever seen him and appeared to be stable on the foil.

Ed had many fast runs. I tried unsuccessfully to chase him on the S2

Mauricio blasted past me at least one time.

Turned out to be a very good day.

Did you, you know, do that thing where you ride some doodad that sticks out from the bottom of your board?

That actually sounds a little weird, but no. Didn't expect the wind so I didn't bring much. We did manage some boatfoiling this weekend on different rigs, and dang it, I guess I'm getting a new foil...

Tell us more. Also, Gene said Roger is getting a new foil, too?

Speaking of foils. One just for Lasers.

The foil kit is $3300 + import duties, not including the boat (which will set you back another $6300 + options). https://www.glidefree.com.au/shop-1

I should show this to She Who Makes All My Toys Possible to justify my expenditures. Biggrin

Went with closeout on a Slingshot foil and board. Also, just noticed Windance has a good deal on a Slingshot windsurf-foilboard:
