I’m heading to Vann’s Tavern.

Re: Memorial day

I think I may go up in a bit.

Memorial Day and other days of remembrance humble me in knowing the sacrifices that have been made on behalf of all of us.

I went to Tidwell. Was pretty windy, though Tidwell usually blows all the other places away. For sure seemed like more than the numbers G-Ville was reporting.

Five of us showed up at Vann's. Wind was puffy 8-14 and then died off when the sun came out. It came back with the clouds and then really picked up just before the rain. Fun day.

One of these showed up. Basically a very expensive jet ski with the chance of drowning.

Don't like it Webester? When it gets up in the air like this* I envision some guy (like me) trying to foil.

* followed shortly by a big splash down.

It was okay. It just seemed ... like it was trying too hard. Other than the underwater part, a vanilla jet ski would have covered about 90% of it. Who knows, if it was me inside, I'd probably think it was the greatest thing on the water.

Somebody got me on their phone today:
