I plan on being at the meeting tonight; it should be an opportune time to discuss where best to meet the winds of "Ivan the Terrible" due in tomorrow and Thursday. It looks like Wednesday noon at Vann's, assuming the forcast for easterlies, 10-18mph holds.
I'm probably going to Galt's this afternoon/evening and won't make the meeting. NWS just updated the forecast for then to E 17. Tomorrow looks like another good Galt's day too.
Besides talking about where to sail for the next few days, we ccould also discuss Whitecap's Windfest coming up this Sat in Augusta. It looks like we may have some left over winds. I'm planning on going and would like to know who else is going, when, where they're staying, and if they're staying Sat night to attend the other Lakefest with the fireworks, live bands, etc.
Also, I plan on taking some of the used gear from Gene's Consignment, AND my inventory is getting very low. If anyone has any gear they need help selling, bring it to the meeting or to the lake over the next few days and I may be able to take it to the windfest.
