Due to construction around Frankies where we’ve been meeting, the parking is a mess, a real mess. So if anyone has any suggestions on an alternative place to meet, please post here or give me a call, 770-967-0104/404-735-4944.
Also, rumor has it we may have a celebrity in attendance, a famous published writer. So everyone make plans to attend.

That was a good article, I've been to NY City a few times and with all that water around it I have seen lots of sea kayakers but no Windsurfers.
I still have access to the old control tower at PDK airport. We could go there. There's a little restaurant in the building.
CLUB MEETING at Peachtree Dekalb Airport, tomorrow, Wed, 4/9, at 7:30. We will be meeting at the Down Wind Restaurant, so food (and drinks) will be available. The restaurant is located in the main administration building at the airport, which is on Clairmont road. Rough directions are take Clairmont off of Peachtree Industrial Road to airport, or from I-85, take Shallowford to Dresden to Clairmont to airport, or take Clairmont exit, or you can get there off of Buford Highway. You can find it; it's the Peachtree Dakalb Airport (NOT the Atlanta Airport.) Hope to see everyone there.

Come early (6:30ish) for dollar beers, airplane & sunset watchin' in the old tower.
Along with Danny Johnson, I'm going to be there. That makes at least 4 of us then.
(I'll be bringing my excuses on why Windsurfing Magazine edited the title of my article in the issue that just came out. You know, there's a big difference from "Windsurfing Ain't Always Pretty" to just plain "Windsurfing Ain't Pretty".)

Directions from Augusta or Rising Fawn, GA: Have the pilot taxi to Epps Air Service. The Downwind is right upstairs, in the main bldg at PDK.
