I was poking around Ace Hardware and stumbled upon a major find. Ding Repair (Epoxy Putty) for only $1.89. They sell the very same stuff in the shops for about 8 bucks and we all know what Marine-tex sells for. This stuff is great, you just pinch off what you need, knead the silly putty till it turns white, and place it on the ding. Good thing  about this is that you can put it on a wet board, and it sets up really quick so you can get back out sailing in a jiff.
