GFS (windmapper uses it primarily I think) suggesting some east Sat afternoon and Sunday morning. Euro model not onboard yet but GFS seems to do better with the easterlies this time of year.
I hope to be out.
In the meantime - it's going to be a tough time for our neighbors to the south. Not much of a place to hide anywhere on the east coast up to SC between the wind, rain, surge and king tides.

Maybe lake Juliet tomorrow afternoon... maybe.
I need a little more wind than Webguy
And... less boat chop
Not sure if there is a launch that would favor an East wind

I'm going to tape a batten into place and drag out the "Super Secret Weapon™ " for another run if it looks light.
My inspiration. Mind you this guy is pushing 200lb and 6'3". The people in those dinghies must have been freaked when he went by.

Another of him light air jibing. btw, he trains with Luuc van Opzeeland who just won the IFCA Worlds

Juliet is not good in East winds, especially wind that has any North.
Well...maybe somewhere halfway local will have a breeze
I agree with Chris, Juliette has a huge wind shadow on easterlies.
We will be out on the boat tomorrow.
Blue Catalina sail number 2338.

Already seen this movie.
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
Ye, of little effin' faith. Yeah, they'll be gone by tomorrow but just for a little while I have hope. I HAVE HOPE, I tell ya.
they are not gone
I will try to join y'all.
Place and time?
I can go, when and where? Just (11.45) rode thru Van Pugh and not crowded.

Tomorrow, Sunday mid-morning, with forecast calling for NE wind, I plan to sail at Van Pugh.

After yestereday at Vanns, I'm only a maybe today. Yestereday, I got 4 rides in 5 hours. And the boat traffic was like 285. I made one run out and back but when Ed on his 9.5 and William on his foil were doing nothing, I took it in and just hung out for a few hours. The last hour William finally started to get some runs as wind came up to about 10 mph, and the boat traffic picked up also as they were heading in. So back out for an hour of pumping to try to get on foil in the voodoo chop. Damn.
But I'm a maybe at Van Pugh this morning, car is still loaded.

Vanns after breakfast
Once it filled in I had a good time.
I guess Vanns and Ibuprofen for me.
Gene was correct, there seemed to be an excessive amount of boat traffic running on the backside (W) of Three Sisters.
Here is the glass half full view. This weekend probably marks the last hurrah for boat traffic. School in session, cooler weather and concussionball is in full swing so usually the boaters will be packing it in. Weeks ahead will be getting better and better.
