I have my first kite repair and want to get some advice.

I have a 12m Naish and the deflation valve is leaking. I removed the bladder and the leak is at the edge of the valve. It looks like the rim pulled away from the bladder slightly, resulting in a small leak.

Does anyone have any advice on fixing this? I have the original repair kit provided with the kite. What I don't know is if it is better to replace the valve completely (if yes, how?), or if I can simply fill the hole in.
