Lake Mead set to hit Lanier full pool level

Lake Mead (behind the Hoover Dam) is set to hit a pool level of 1071.61 in July which is close to Lake Lanier's full pool level of 1071 (currently 1069.5 but was at 1071 in late May). However, it is expected to be lower as the year progresses.

Only problem: full pool for Lake Mead is 1221.4 and it has been declining since reaching a short term high of 1215 in 1999. The projected levels haven't been seen since the 1930s when the lake was filling.
