Kiter to the Rescue

Down at Sunset Beach in Tarpon Springs (I Love that Place,) a kiter used his kite to pull a stranded boat out to deeper water.

The picture is of the area in front of the condo where we normally stay, south side of Sunset Beach park. Kiters usually launch from the north side of the park where the water is a little deeper. The water depth normally in that area, south side, fluctuates from a few inches to a few feet, depending on how extreme the tides are. Between Sunset Beach park and Howard park to the north, the water is a little deeper and north side of Howard park is a little deeper still. Windsurfers normally sail from Howard park. Thanks to Patrick Kirkland of Atlanta/Tarpon Springs who sent me the article.
