2 links: a charleston newspaper article and a thread on rec.windsurfing about a recent fatal accident in England which emphasizes the need for helmets when kiting and the inadequacies (IMHO) that remain in disengaging a powered kite. Buried in the Charleston article is some very sensible advice about the need for lessons, etc. which we all know but I'm highlighting for those who come along later.
