Limited edition of 200 will be made. About half already spoken for. I'm sure it's an insanely fast foil. I think it would frighten me to no end to ride the speeds its capable of.

I would love to try out a full phantom slalom setup (board, sail, foil) as well as the new SLR mkII gear. But, I haven't broken 23kts. I think next time I try one of my <900cm2 wings I'll set a new speed because the new spot near me is much better with chop, but it'll probably be a bit.
It still blows my mind when I see the slalom races and realize how fast everyone is going.
I think the best way to speed up my board would be to get this guy to sail it. Best I've done with my Isail is a bit under 7mph on water, about 11-12 on land.
He's cranking in at 17kt, or ~20 mph. At 2:00 you can see the guy I'm hoping to emulate (he's 89.) Us "mature" guys do have a future.

If we pretend knots and mph are the same, I'm nearly your speed on my 725.
I've been trimming down for cycling this summer so losing a bit of ballast. It's not helping my speed on the water. I was flat out powered up on a 6.9 today with hardly a whitecap. In other words, I ain't got nothing to hold down things. I think the kid in Randy's video would dust me.
Randy, I think we should crowd fund a visit for you to Luderitz and answer a lot of questions. I'm hoping that between us, one of us can go faster than the 6 yr. old.
IDK - I'm more into freestyle than speed now. My new trick - I call it Crash Test Dummy Saved by the Air Bag

That's painful (and funny as ...)
Hope you didn't get hurt. If you are okay, then
That reminds me that I have a 6.0 wing still but no suitable board, but I do have a skateboard...
Completely painless. Got back up and went on riding. The sail is fine too (even after almost 4 years of abuse on land and water.)
