What an epic day - let’s hope it’s only the beginning for the end of wind-drought at Lanier.
Granted I have only been at this less than 3 yrs but easily the best day of Lanier foiling for me. The last 1.5hrs, I went towards the launch at least 10 times with the intention to stop - but decided it was too good to quit while I have SOME gas in the tank. The result, a record day - 4.5+ hrs of sailing, 42.5 miles. After lunch session also my longest streak on the water without a break - 35miles, 3:45hrs.
Missed those who couldn’t make it there today. Big shout out to Gene!!!
PS: Barrett got some good pics - looking forward to seeing them here.

Great pics, Barrett. Agreed, great day. Got surprising amount of mileage from my 4.7 from early 15-25 to afternoon 10-20. Great to see so many folks out.
Nice day! Hamdi, you are definitely the marathon sailor. By the way I was not trying to start a game of chicken during our collision course moment. Just lousy foil control on my part. I need a few four hour foiling sessions to remedy those issues. Barrett, great pics as usual.
Happy foiling! Scott

Another Barrett pic. I think this was Scott at some point yesterday.
