Hifly Carbon board sale Free 120 Madd 115

Two lovely HIflys in the garage should probably go to a home where they will get more use.

Both are about 15 years old. iirc, Chinook imported the better carbon versions of HiFly boards for a few years. These are nice new school widths but a touch longer than most current boards. Both come with fin but the Chinook deck plate pictured is not included. The Free 120 (262x65)is a nice 7.0-6.0 freeride board while the 115 Madd (255x64) is a twinzer - a little looser feeling with two smaller fins. I bought this board for shallow spots like Hatteras - it has two 26cm fins. 120 is $250 and the 115 is $175 Both are in good condition with minor ding repairs.

Update: 115 is going to a lovely home in FL. Good

Hello from Fort Lauderdale. Do you still have the Madd 115? I have a 135 Madd about the same age and enjoy sailing it.

Yes. I made the mistake of getting all my friends into foiling so the market here for 110-120 l boards is slow at the moment. Lol

Love your sail - did Hotsails do the customizations or are they aftermarket?

Foiling is big here in Fort Lauderdale as well, but we do get high wind days that make the ocean fun to sail but too rough for foiling. I would like to buy the Madd from you. I have a daughter in Asheville and will be driving that way in a month and could pick the board up then. If you want to get some warm water sailing in, we could meet in Florida someplace. If you have never sailed at Calema in Cocoa Beach, it is worth the drive. I will bring my LIFT efoil that you can try. It is a great toy to learn foiling on.

Jeff at Hot Sails did make the sail for me. I have been using his sails for years. If you want a very light sail for a foil I highly recommend the KS3 6.7 or 5.8. Only three battens, but good low-end power and bulletproof.

Super! Nice to know it's going to a good home. Give me some advanced warning because I keep the board up in Gainesville, GA at the lake.

Or, we can meet in FL - just depends on how soon you want things.. Yep, know Calema well. Both my kids learned to windsurf there. Sounds like yours, they are much older now. Biggrin Now, you and Neil are both busting my chops to foil on something other than a windfoil. I feel lost without a boom to hold on to.

Again, love the sail. You need to post a full size version of it!

btw, welcome to our little world up here. The wind sucks most of the time but it's a good crowd to commiserate with. Lol

All good. It has been a while since I was a Calema, but have many good memories there. If you have never sailed in Key Biscayne, you should add that to your bucket list. With the right wind, it is one of the best places I have ever sailed.
Not in a hurry for the board, I have a bigger quiver of boards than I need but would like to add this classic. If you are in need of any sails let me know, and I can share my inventory. My name is Dave Walsh by the way. My email is Please send me an email and we can set up a payment for the 115 Madd.
