Jerry Farr, Jim ?, and myself got on the water at 1:30 with 6.0, 5.0, and 6.5, respectively. Was pretty good for the first run, but then seemed to drop off. Everybody rigged up (Jerry on a 7.5 and me on a 7.8) but still wasn’t enough to plane except in the gusts. It seemed to pick up slightly around 5:00 and we quit around 5:30.
In summary it was a butt ugly day to be on the water (or in the water as Jerry noted of my performance) with mixed results. Shorty wetsuits were worn by all and I for one was glad to have it on as the air temp, wind and rain made it a little chilly. Please note the Galt’s gate is now locked at 6:00 PM, so you need to plan your derigging activity accordingly.

Strange... It was really good at Lanier until about 4:00 before it dropped off . It was full on 6.0 most day with hardly any lulls!
