I hope to sail Friday and Saturday.
I would prefer Vanns but I can go to VP if that is the consensus. ( I tell myself there is more and cleaner wind there at Vanns)
I prefer VP 'cause it's closer and there's no mountain to climb. And, can get to the same water pretty easily on a reach
edit: Best laid plans... it seemed weird that the wind was more north after passing Island 16. Competing winds made it super squirrly in the zone out from Aqualand gas docks. The red line was my approximate path. Never made it past 3 sisters
Gene, Mike, Chris V. & I sailed at Van Pugh. The wind came up giving me a great opportunity to try out my new Moses 950 foil, - the same one Chris sailed with a new board. By late morning the wind picked up with solid whitecaps. I converted to windsurfing with the same Ezzy Cross sail, then back to foiling to finish at 2PM. Had a fun time & nice to de-rig with sun & temp in low 70’s.

I am hoping to go Fri morning for a couple hrs. Vanns for me ‘cause it’s closer and I don’t mind mtn climbing’😀
Tidwell baby ... ?!
9:35 Vanns live- no white caps but tree tips are moving. For me, big sail and maybe big wing time.
