Friday - another epic day?

I'm planning on sailing again today at Van Pugh. Will we have two epic days in a row?

Hopefully. Rhett and I are foiling in the pm. He may have a new toy arrive in time.

Barrett, Rhett, Dave and I did Van Pugh Day Two. Splashy boards did from 4 something to 7.0. Rhett and I then foiled the afternoon on 5.2 and 4.7 respectively with winds 12-20ish. The wind finally turned down to 8-12 around 5 pm so we finally came in.

Jon and I sailed Juliette today. I started out foiling with a 6.0
Then switched to a short board with the 6.0 in the afternoon.
Jon used his new loft sail.

You were missed up north. Glad you had a good day. Where did he get the Loft? New or new to him?

Yeah I was torn on where to go but Jon hasn’t sailed since last April in Hatteras so it was good to sail with him again.
Not sure about his loft, looked new. I just remember him saying this is the first time he rigged it. Nice sail but too big for today.

At Old Fed, Hamdi, as usual, foiled all afternoon without a break on his 5.3, while I hung around and shot the bull with David D and Richard G. Then ....

I had a later session on my 6.0. Hamdi came in and tried his new bigger wing which seemed to add a sail size, as he stayed on his 5.3 and was still making it work.

I feel "sail-size shamed"... Lol

moredownhaul, reason I asked about the Loft is I didn't know of any distribution in the US. Hamdi had to get his from overseas. Their Skyscape is a nice foil line of sails.
