btw, according to the Gainesville Times, Lanier has warmed up to April levels with temps in the upper 50s to 60 in spots.
Then they layed down this pearl of wisdom: If an area looks dead and you aren’t seeing any fish, then don’t hesitate to move on to more productive water.

Al, Howard, Rhett& I joined JP & Langdon at Vanns in the AM. The sailors who got on the water before 11AM got the best wind. By Noon it was calm. The water’s warmed to 55F.

There still may be sailable winds tomorrow but a healthy respect and regard for weather radar is probably a good idea.

3pm, arrived at VP - 1 windsurf/foil on water - small breeze, forecast shows more wind 4pm, pumping 8m wing
Last minute run up to llsc paid off with a surprising 5.5, 1.5 hr sesssion
