Friday looks good. Saturday evaporated and rain Sunday. Monday and Tuesday look epic. Another FU to the regular working stiff, though with the weekend blanking out.
Great day and a very nice turn out. Rhett, Gene, Haizar, Chris P and Robert all arrived before me. Barrett, Mike, JB, Chris V and Langdon took the second shift.
Wind was stronger than what Gilmer seemed to report or I'm out of shape. 6.0 on fins. 5.2-4.4 on foils.
I actually caught the whole sequence via "motor drive". You got a tiny bit higher then landed unceremoniously.
"Any landing you can walk away from is a good one". (These are a tad blurry).
Excellent video guys. Something Langdon told me even before I saw the video:
"Chris asked me to fly in close to shore for some photos.
Wind was kinda dirty there so I had her wound up tight and singing as I exited the windline before entering some of the jibes"

Rhett & I plan to sail Friday afternoon at Van Pugh. Looks like a great forecast.

Great pics, Chris.
Should have mentioned Haizar was getting his first serious flights on foil yesterday. Very happy for him

Ho Lee Fuk! Langdon that looks scary high.

Regrettably I continued to fly a little higher

I'd call that "sticking the landing."
What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
I agree with Webguy. Haizer did well yesterday. There was some strong winds at times and the chop is always a challenge
Slo mo for the learning impaired (like me)

Lester Ross got a pic of someone kiting near Old Fed. (But didn't assuredly launch there, the park being closed and all...
